The clubhouse and swimming pool offer a variety of social and Huntington Park West business activities. The Recreation Committee coordinates and schedules events such as potlucks, monthly dinners, and specialty events. 

Instructors provide exercise classes and art classes. Small groups such as a Veterans' Group are offered. Other groups are organized around such activities such as board games and cards. Some events may charge a small fee.

In addition to various ad hoc community service and social groups, the HOA has standing committees to assist in the operation of the Association such as Greenbelt, Architectural, Finance, Recreation, Pool, Boosters, Emergency Preparedness, Technology, and Clubhouse.

Association policies are important to uphold for everyone’s safety and quality of life. These include Pets, Pool, Clubhouse, Dumpster, Vehicle Operation / Parking, and Garage/Estate/Moving Sales.

Our pristine pool opens on Memorial Day and closes September 30th. The spa opens April 1st and closes October 31st.

Pool & Spa hours are 9 AM until 10 PM with the exception of Tuesday when it is closed at 7:00 PM for maintenance.

This fabulous amenity provides not only lazy hours of sunning and socializing, but great water aerobics classes.

A picnic area is in the nearby courtyard. 

Certain family days and hours are posted.

However, no lifeguards are on duty.

A bath house is provided for showering and changing.

A Recreation Committee person schedules occasional Master Classes on a variety of interesting topics. Other popular clubhouse events include monthly cash Bingo with dinner, a variety of weekly classes and social groups, monthly pub trivia, Memorial Day and Fourth of July picnics, a Thanksgiving Feast, and other special holiday events.

Pea patch raised bed gardening plots are available for $20 per plot at the North patch and $10 per plot at the South patch. These are available when a plot is vacated and offered on a "waiting list" basis.

A locked RV storage area accommodates a limited number of resident RVs, boats, and trailers for a monthly fee. Current 2025 rates run $40 - $60 based on availability. 

There are greenbelts and over 2 miles of walking trails throughout the park. 

A large community compost dumpster is available for yard debris, and another regular waste dumpster is open Tuesdays to Huntington Park West residents for large items.
